About The Position

The Paint Technician is responsible for preparing components and parts for primer and paint, matching colors, mixing paint, applying epoxy primer and polyurethane topcoat, and delivering finished components and parts to their respective locations. This role requires adherence to strict safety and environmental guidelines, adaptability to changing schedules, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English. Proficiency in painting techniques, surface preparation, and the use of specialized coatings meeting aviation industry standards is essential. Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality are critical for ensuring a flawless finish.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare components and parts for primer and paint
  • Match color and mixing paint

  • Deliver finished components and parts to their respective locations
  • Participate in and support safety initiatives, safe work practices, and compliance
  • Participate in safety activities, including immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices, and accidents/injuries
  • Follow all safety rules, FAA regulations, PPE compliance, and equipment operation requirements
  • Work in a team environment
