About The Position

Paint & Stain Associates are responsible for mixing paints, applying coatings to prepared surfaces, monitoring quality, and performing retouching as needed within the Pre-Finish Department. This hands-on role involves working with large, bulky building materials and requires attention to detail, physical handling of products, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (overtime as business requires).

Requirements

• Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening

• Experience working in manufacturing/distribution or operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Mix paints to match required color specifications for building materials.
• Spray primers and finish coatings onto prepared surfaces in accordance with quality standards.
• Monitor painted surfaces for flaws and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Hand-paint detailed or retouch areas to ensure a consistent finish.
• Handle and move large, heavy materials safely while performing painting tasks and other assigned duties.
