Paint Racking / Prep & Touch-Up
About The Position
Rack or hang parts prior to priming or painting. Work with painters to determine best orientation for racking or hanging of parts to ensure efficient painting. Remove primed or painted parts from racking. Rotate or Re-rack parts in between coats of prime or paint. Touch-up primed or painted parts. Back-up for masking or de-masking as required. Learn production flow through Paint Department. Read and follow detailed work instructions, operating procedures, drawings and blueprints. Maintain a clean work area. Ability to work both independently or under direction as the job requires.
Requirements
- Good Manual dexterity
- Manufacturing or painting experience is a plus.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- U.S. work authorization required.
