About The Position
The Paint Process Engineer works in automotive finishing and robotic processes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, although seven years of work-related experience may substitute for the degree. Work experience combined with current schooling toward a degree will also be considered. The employee must be computer literate on the Windows platform and pass the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Point Hue Test annually. Experience with industrial controls, computer technology, and programming is an asset.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; seven years of work-related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Work experience combined with current schooling toward a degree will be considered.
- Computer literacy on the Windows platform.
- Must pass the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Point Hue Test annually.
- Previous automotive finishing and robotic experience required.
