We’re currently seeking a Paint Prepper to join our collision repair team. Requirements
- Previous automotive, collision, body shop, or paint preparation experience preferred, but willingness to learn is most important.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and established repair procedures.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and repaired panels for the painting and refinishing process.
- Sand, mask, tape, and prime vehicle surfaces as directed.
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and complete necessary preparation before vehicles move into the paint booth.
- Follow proper procedures for handling materials, tools, and equipment.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work closely with body technicians and painters to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the repair process.
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail on every vehicle.
