About The Position
As a Paint Prepper on our growing team, you are contributing to the success of the company by prepping company products for the painting process as well as assisting the Industrial Painters and making sure the final touch comes out perfect. Requirements
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinders.
- Working knowledge of welding process is helpful.
- Heavy-duty truck aptitude.
- Strong organization, communication, and phone skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional sales, customer service, and time management skills.
- Ability to be extremely well organized, resourceful, and self-motivated.
- Ability to problem solve and make appropriate business decisions with little guidance.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of body shop experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment, structures, or material.
- Apply Cleaning solvents, adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings.
- Mask vehicle body in preparation for painting.
- Operate mechanized devices, or equipment.
- Clean equipment or machinery.
- Read work orders and instructions.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
- Distinguish colors.
- Follow all safe work practices.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
