About The Position

Responsible for assisting Painter in painting parts after body repair work is complete according to Collision Center guidelines. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Duties include assisting the painter, applying paint to vehicle parts after repair, covering parts that do not require painting, buffing or cleaning surfaces after paint dries, requesting necessary materials, and performing paint jobs efficiently and according to Collision Center guidelines. The role also requires maintaining CSI at or above Company standards, maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area, participating in required training, accurately recording hours worked, following Safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating the Company’s Core Values, and complying with Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Collision Center Paint.
  • Ability to operate equipment to perform painting functions.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Must pass OSHA respiratory medical exam.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.
