Experienced/Intermediate level is an experienced individual who uses hands-on skills to perform work. Has acquired skills from training and work experience, has limited autonomy, and works under moderate supervision. Achieves competency with skills assigned to this level.

Requirements

  • Capable of meeting schedules and time allowances for production requirements.
  • Ability to comprehend detailed instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced math skills.
  • Excellent eye and hand coordination.
  • Ability to use hand tools and other pneumatic tools.
  • Ability to properly weigh and mix chemicals.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently.
  • This position must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 - 3 years experience in Aerospace and similar role
  • Experience with sander, Bondo and/or mudding.

Responsibilities

  • Performs surface preparation, including sanding, taping and cleaning.
  • Perform simple rework according to customer specification.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Proper disposal of unused chemicals.
