Requirements
- Previous paint prep or automotive body shop experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and parts for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning surfaces
- Remove imperfections and ensure surfaces are properly prepped for a flawless finish
- Assist automotive painters with paint booth preparation and vehicle movement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines
- Work efficiently to help meet production and cycle time goals
