About The Position

Exmark is hiring PCD Hangers for their facility in Beatrice, Nebraska. This role involves hanging and unhanging parts on a paint line, performing visual quality checks, and operating equipment to move parts. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Exmark is a leading manufacturer of commercial mowers and equipment for landscape professionals, and a division of The Toro Company.

Requirements

Ability to follow standard work and procedures
Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

Hang (unhang) parts on paint line carriers according to standard work or procedures
Perform visual check on all parts to ensure quality standards are met
Operate electric or pneumatic hoist to set heavier painted parts on carts in advance of assembly
Use pallet jack or forklift to move parts to storage areas
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and active participation in all 5S efforts and initiatives
Perform daily inspections of equipment within area of responsibility to ensure all equipment is in safe working order
Strive to meet all established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards
Continually seek to improve production methods, equipment performance and overall quality of product
Ability to learn a variety of different product lines
Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
