About The Position

The Paint Mixer role is crucial for ensuring customers receive the exact color they selected for their project. This position involves operating a tint machine, following work orders, and utilizing an electric pallet jack to retrieve paint bases. The role requires careful attention to detail when following formulas on a computer, verifying color accuracy, and completing necessary paperwork. The Paint Mixer is responsible for preparing tinted products for shipment, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process.

Requirements

• Must be able to see color and notice minor color differences.
• Excellent attendance is critical.
• Commitment to safety, including wearing safety glasses while tinting.
• Physical ability to be on feet for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift individual paint cans or full cases of 4 cans, weighing up to 75 pounds, several times a day.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tint machine is ready for use.
• Log in to see assigned workload.
• Utilize an electric pallet jack to pull paint bases from the warehouse.
• Use the computer to carefully follow formulas to fulfill assigned orders.
• Verify that tinted colors match the selected color.
• Put the product back on the pallet.
• Finish the paperwork, including printing out the BOL.
• Wrap the pallets.
• Transport the prepared product to the designated location for shipment.
