About The Position
Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, WI is seeking a full-time Powder Coat Line worker for their 1st shift, which runs from 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. This role involves preparing parts, operating the powder coating machinery, and ensuring quality control.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to use a crane, tugger, hoists and forklifts.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints and job instructions.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Responsibilities
- Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
- Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
- Moves sleeve on nozzles to attain specified spraying pressure and turns thumbscrew to direct nozzles toward articles or materials to be coated.
- Regulates temperature of coating solution.
- Removes article and or materials from conveyor belt and places articles or materials in drying racks or containers.
- Paints parts.
- Parts preparation with the use of chemicals and hand tools.
