About The Position

This position reports to the Paint Line Supervisor and is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties. The Paint Line Technician is responsible for loading and unloading the paint line and powder painting during break times, performing titrations and adjusting chemicals in the washer and wastewater system, and performing preventive maintenance on the paint line systems.

Requirements

• Operate overhead air hoist and drive forklift.
• Good communication skills and able to work as a team.
• Basic Math.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Organizational skills a plus.
• Chemical experience a plus.
• Industrial powder or E-Coat Experience desired.
• General preventive maintenance a plus and the ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Loading/Unloading various parts to conveyor.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Titrations and chemical adjustments of the washer and wastewater system.
• Powder painting.
• Inspection of final painted parts.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.
