Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Ability to work with moderate to heavy weight materials.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing/production environment experience desired but not required.
  • Forklift operation experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload parts on paint line conveyor.
  • Mix paints, touch-up parts and operate paint burn-off equipment.
  • Mix paints and visually inspect parts for proper viscosity.
  • Read all shop orders, hang proper tags, and identify parts.
  • Load/unload parts up to 50 lbs on conveyor line.
  • Use computer to clock/transfer shop orders.
  • Maintain records with accurate piece count.
  • Maintain quality and quantity standards.
  • Visually inspect and gage work for quality.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly and maintain proper care of equipment.
  • Maintain good communication with production supervisors, machine operators, managers, and other support personnel.
  • Be a positive team contributor who works well with all team members.
  • Participate in training activities, both on and off site.
  • Work safely by following all safety policies, procedures and actively participate in all site safety programs.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.
