About The Position

Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength as a Paint Line Loader/Unloader on our weekend shift. You'll play a key role in keeping our powder coat operation running efficiently by preparing parts for painting, inspecting finished products, and ensuring materials move safely through the production process. This full-time position offers a base wage of $20.00 to $22.75 per hour (depending on experience) plus overtime eligibility after only 36 hours worked in a week. Our Weekend Shift is designed to give you more time for life while rewarding your commitment. Work just 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours (overtime eligibility kicks in on hour 37) Three-day workweek — work Friday through Sunday and enjoy four days off every week. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Push and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Safely operate hoists, sanders, grinders, and other production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Load weldments onto the paint line according to established hang patterns.
  • Unload painted parts, inspect for quality, and remove masking materials and plugs.
  • Stage, organize, wrap, box, and prepare finished parts for the next step in production.
  • Inspect parts throughout the process to identify quality concerns and document reorders when needed.
  • Perform Oracle inventory transactions and complete required production paperwork.
  • Maintain hooks, racks, and other production materials to keep the paint line operating efficiently.
  • Safely operate hoists and other material-handling equipment.
  • Report equipment issues, supply needs, and quality concerns to the Supervisor or Lead.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting other production activities as needed.
