About The Position

Advanced Coatings Inc. is seeking a qualified Production 1st Shift Line Leader to manage the Painters on a moving Paint Line at our Oshkosh, WI facility. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. You will be responsible for overseeing and motivating team members on a daily basis. Requirements

• Have a working knowledge of commercial and military paint application principles and requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversees the paint line operations for designated department(s) and shifts(s)
• Maintains work schedules and establishes job assignments to the appropriate personnel to meet production goals
• Plans and executes production schedule day to day appropriately
• Is a partner in quality by insuring parts are painted within specifications using methods established by paint manufactures
• Coordinates rework or touch up of parts with employees, Quality Associates and other Team Leads as needed
• Informs maintenance, management and other Line Leads of malfunctioning equipment or issues with the building
• Discover training needs and provide coaching
• Has excellent communication skills and can adapt to changes in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
• Provides guidance to new employees and instructs all employees on process changes
