About The Position

This role involves performing body and paint preparation on vehicles and components according to established standards. The helper will complete repairs by polishing, buffing, sanding, reassembling, and cleaning as needed. Key responsibilities include accurately entering and updating service orders, parts, and technician notes in the VMS system, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and properly using and caring for assigned tools and equipment. The position also requires conducting quality inspections on completed repairs and managing replaced parts.

Requirements

  • Vocational/specialist training in automotive Body Repair
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-3 years’ experience in Automotive Paint and Body Repairs

Responsibilities

  • Perform body and paint preparation on vehicles and components according to established standards.
  • Complete repairs by polishing, buffing, sanding, reassembling, and cleaning as needed.
  • Accurately enter and update service orders, parts, and technician notes in the VMS system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Properly use and care for assigned tools and equipment.
  • Conduct quality inspections on all completed vehicle repairs.
  • Manage replaced parts by properly storing, tagging, and returning them, while completing additional assigned tasks.
