Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic paint or equipment issues
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of the paint line
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours)
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production schedules
  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to complete certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or paint line environment
  • Experience with powder coating or wet spray painting processes
  • Familiarity with electrostatic paint equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve quality issues

Responsibilities

  • Support all functions of the production paint line, including loading and unloading parts
  • Wash, steam clean, and dry components prior to painting
  • Plug, tap, countersink, and prepare parts for proper paint application
  • Install threaded inserts using pneumatic tools
  • Operate and assist with electrostatic and wet spray painting processes
  • Apply rivets and perform finishing tasks on painted components
  • Transport parts and carts to and from production and assembly areas
  • Monitor paint quality and assist in troubleshooting defects or inconsistencies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members and leaders to meet daily production goals
