About The Position

At TE Certified, we are seeking a talented and experienced Drywaller or Painter to join our team full-time to help with a steady flow of sheetrock repair opportunities. As a full-time Repair Tech at TE Certified, you will be responsible for performing a variety of small drywall repair, painting, and minor carpentry tasks to support our home services division. Task range from patching and painting small holes to replacing trim and attic stairs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' properties are restored to pristine condition after each visit. Requirements

  • Proven experience in drywall repair and finishing, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent sheetrock repair skills and the ability to paint and perform minor carpentry repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and techniques, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing.
  • Excellent ability to keep a clean working environment with careful attention to the customer’s home and belongings.
  • Ability to accurately assess repair needs and execute tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to drive a company vehicle to multiple locations across metro Atlanta to perform repairs.
  • Commitment to upholding TE’s standard of quality, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Ability to do small trim carpentry projects and repairs.
  • Willingness to learn skills and abilities and perform new tasks.
  • Willingness to adhere to company guidelines and standards.
  • Must have standard tools of the trade required for role.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Drug free with the ability to pass a background check.
  • Able to carry and work on ladders, lift to 45 lbs, and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Live within a 1-hour commute of Roswell, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform drywall repairs, patching, and finishing to restore walls and ceilings to their original condition.
  • Paint or touchup small areas after repairs.
  • Repair cracks, holes, and other damage in drywall surfaces, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and customers to assess repair needs and prioritize tasks based on project timelines.
  • Maintain a stocked truck with tools and inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the repair process.
  • Help guide the repair department and develop systems and processes for quality repairs for TE Customers.
  • Manage larger outsourced projects as needed.
  • Provide detailed documentation of repairs and restorations.
