About The Position

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with Pain Medicine fellowship
  • Active and unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Valid DEA license with X-waiver preferred
  • Completion of accredited Pain Medicine fellowship program
  • Strong clinical skills in interventional and non-interventional pain management techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills
  • Commitment to ethical, high-quality, evidence-based medical practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Perform advanced interventional pain management procedures including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Utilize non-interventional pain management techniques including medication management and physical rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and primary care physicians
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies, treatment options, and long-term wellness
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices in pain medicine
