Pain Management Doctor
About The Position
We’re looking for a Pain Management Physician to provide procedural care at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The role focuses on evaluating patients who may benefit from interventional treatment, reviewing diagnostic findings, and performing appropriate procedures based on their clinical needs. The physician will assess referrals, discuss treatment options with patients, and determine the most appropriate course of care. The position also involves monitoring outcomes and adjusting treatment when results are not as expected. The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is a $600,000 base salary plus a revenue-sharing plan.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Active Nevada medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- Board certification in Pain Management or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Be in network with insurers.
- Completed residency in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or another relevant specialty.
- Training and clinical experience in interventional pain management.
- Ability to meet ASC credentialing and privileging standards.
- Strong understanding of procedural safety and patient selection.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients referred for interventional pain treatment.
- Identify appropriate procedural and nonprocedural treatment options.
- Perform pain management procedures within approved clinical privileges.
- Review imaging, medical histories, and previous treatment results.
- Discuss procedural risks, benefits, and expected outcomes with patients.
- Obtain and document informed consent.
- Coordinate procedural care with the ASC clinical team.
- Conduct follow-up evaluations and review treatment effectiveness.
