About The Position

Woodland Direct is looking for a Paid Search Manager to join our in-house performance marketing team. This is a hands-on execution role focused primarily on paid search and shopping performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with a strong emphasis on paid and organic Shopping channels and Google Merchant Center. This role works alongside an existing PPC team and shares ownership of campaign execution, optimization, and performance. In addition to paid search, this position supports broader marketing initiatives, including customer journey optimization, SEO, organic social, and cross-channel growth efforts. This is not a reporting-only or theory-based role. The majority of time will be spent inside ad platforms and core marketing tools, supporting live campaigns and revenue-driving initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience working inside Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads
  • Familiarity with Google Merchant Center and product feed concepts
  • Working knowledge of, or strong interest in, SEO and organic social marketing
  • Comfort working in Google Sheets or Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing live campaigns
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within an existing team structure
  • Ownership mindset and accountability for shared performance outcomes
  • Willingness to learn and contribute across multiple marketing disciplines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopping campaigns and ecommerce advertising strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Share day-to-day execution and optimization of PPC campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Manage Shopping campaigns, including structure, bidding, segmentation, and performance tuning
  • Work directly in Google Merchant Center to support feed health, product titles and descriptions, product eligibility, disapprovals, and overall data quality
  • Support Performance Max campaigns with a strong ecommerce and shopping focus
  • Collaborate on budget management, bid strategies, targeting, and pacing to support efficiency and growth goals
  • Assist with ad copy updates, promotions, extensions, and testing initiatives
  • Monitor performance trends and flag issues or opportunities that impact spend, traffic, or revenue
  • Support reporting and performance discussions with a focus on actionable outcomes
  • Assist with SEO initiatives, including collaboration on content optimization, keyword alignment, and technical priorities
  • Support growth of organic social channels through collaboration on content planning, posting, and performance feedback
  • Assist with additional marketing initiatives as needed across the broader marketing team
  • Work closely with Web, Creative, Sales, and Customer Service teams on integrated campaigns
