SUNY Schenectady Paid Internship and Assistantship Program (Current Students Only)
About The Position
SUNY Schenectady County Community College (SUNY Schenectady) is seeking motivated students to apply for our Paid Internship & Assistantship Program. This program is designed to support experiential learning and career readiness by offering hands-on, paid experience that aligns with academic and career goals. The opportunity is open to students pursuing approved internships or assistantships with clearly defined learning outcomes connected to coursework and career objectives, and activities that promote the NACE Career Development Competencies. Selected students can earn up to $2,200 by completing a maximum of 135 hours of meaningful, work-based experience. Participants must be eligible to work in the United States and will undergo a formal onboarding process, including HR documentation and mandatory training.
Requirements
- Must be a current SUNY Schenectady student.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Completed SUNY Schenectady Employment Application.
Responsibilities
- Complete a maximum of 135 hours of meaningful, work-based experience.
- Participate in a formal onboarding process, including HR documentation and mandatory training.
