About The Position

This requisition is being used to fill multiple internship opportunities throughout 2027. A total of up to 11 intern positions may be hired across six distinct internship disciplines. Each discipline offers unique learning experiences and may require different educational backgrounds, technical skills, and areas of interest. Candidates will be considered for opportunities that best align with their qualifications and preferences. Areas of expertise and focus: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science, Project Management, and Accounting, etc.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an educational institution or within one year following graduation.
  • Must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
  • Areas of expertise and focus: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science, Project Management, and Accounting, etc.
  • Only members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive assignments from supervising staff.
  • Meet rigid and challenging deadlines.

  • Exercise sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy and protocol.
  • Support the Purchasing Systems team by helping develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and Power Apps that provide meaningful business insights.
  • Work with data from multiple sources, supporting data quality efforts, conducting analysis, and creating reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, assist with data integration and validation, and contribute to continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations.
  • Support purchasing and supply chain operations through data analysis, reporting, project support, and process administration.
  • Assist with purchasing activities, maintaining contract documentation, generating reports, supporting compliance efforts, and collaborating on department initiatives.
  • Gain hands-on experience in purchasing and supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Support purchase order management, supplier communications, sourcing initiatives, and day-to-day supply chain activities.
  • Support the Church's Vendor Management Office by assisting with IT contract administration and vendor-related projects.
  • Gain exposure to IT procurement and contracting processes while developing skills in project coordination, attention to detail, and stakeholder collaboration.
