Requirements
- Participation in the NATP class is mandatory.
- Certification is dependent upon the individual passing state board exams.

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed staff to meet the physical and emotional needs of each client.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, safe environment.
- Interact with all departments.
- Start in the Program Department to become familiar with clients and facility.
- Participate in the Nursing Assistant Training Program (NATP) and assist the Nursing Department when the class begins.
- Become a Certified Nursing Assistant upon successful completion of training and state board exams.
