About The Position

The PACU RN assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the nurse coordinates care and communicates and collaborates with team members, patients, and patients’ families or significant others. The position maintains high standards of professional ethics. This is a full-time, on-site role at Virtua’s Mount Holly location. The scheduled hours are 0800–2030 on Saturday and Sunday, with a 12-hour day shift and 36 total weekly hours. PACU or critical care experience is required; procedural area experience is preferred.

Requirements

PACU or critical care experience.
Knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to coordinate the efforts of a team of care providers.
Valid New Jersey RN license, maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board requirements.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; PALS may be obtained within six months of hire.
