PACU RN (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
About The Position
Per Diem Staffing Systems, Inc. is recruiting an experienced PACU RN for Kaiser Anaheim. The nurse will pick up registry shifts consistently and help fill specific scheduling gaps. Candidates should be flexible and able to work 2–3 shifts per week, including weekday and weekend coverage. Shifts are generally scheduled two weeks in advance and are 10 hours, from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The role provides coverage across the Main OR and Surgery Pre/Post Op, with patients and cases including pediatric patients as young as one week old, neuro spine cases, special procedures, and ICU patients. Pre- and post-operative experience is desired. Pay is $76–$78 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime after eight hours. This is an as-needed position.
Requirements
- Experienced PACU RN.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Flexibility to work 2–3 shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends.
