About The Position

Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! Experience: 2 years of PACU experience, Critical Care experience required. Hours: Days with call requirements | Hours can vary | 8-12 hour shifts. Patient population: children and adults. Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 | 8 PACU beds. Requirements

2 years of PACU experience
Critical care experience required
Registered Nurse (RN)
ACLS
BLS
PALS or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.

Nice To Haves

Having an in-depth understanding of nursing as well as patient care standards and procedures is crucial.

Responsibilities

Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop personalized care plans.
Regularly assess patient responses.
Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
Use careful clinical judgment.
Assess patients and prioritize their needs.
Create and adjust care plans for better results.
Assess nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness.
Track indicators, make changes based on research, and join quality improvement initiatives.
Help teach patients and staff.
