PACU RN (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
About The Position
Per Diem Staffing Systems is a leading healthcare staffing agency in California with over 30 years of experience, specializing in Travel & Per Diem Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, and Allied Healthcare positions. Kaiser Anaheim is seeking multiple PACU RNs to pick up registry shifts consistently. This is a Part-Time position requiring 2-3 shifts per week, with flexibility for weekday and weekend coverage to fill specific scheduling gaps. Shifts are generally scheduled two weeks in advance. The primary need is for candidates with strong Pre-op skills, as the 6 am shift will primarily be in pre-op. Coverage is across Main OR & Surgery Pre/Post Op. The role will involve assisting with Pediatric patients (1 week old), Neuro spine cases, special procedures, and ICU patients.
Requirements
- RN should have the availability of 2-3 shifts per week in PACU.
- Must have flexibility to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Strong Pre-op skills essential.
Nice To Haves
- Will accept Pre/Post Op Registered Nurses.
- RNs wanting to work!
Responsibilities
- Pick up registry shifts on a consistent basis.
- Provide coverage across Main OR & Surgery Pre/Post Op.
