About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and assessment skills, demonstrate excellence in patient-centered care, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience required
- Active Colorado RN License in good standing required
- Recent EPIC EMR experience required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills required
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with ANA Standards of Nursing Practice
- Monitor, assess, and care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care in the PACU setting
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to established hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent patient care situations
- Participate in departmental initiatives, shared governance, and continuous quality improvement efforts
- Support departmental goals and maintain professional nursing standards
