The Role We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Procedure Room team at our Pensacola, FL location. In this specialized role, you will work alongside our physicians, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to deliver expert perioperative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing fertility procedures. We are looking for a confident, detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by the profound impact of reproductive medicine.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida — required.
  • Pre- and post-operative nursing experience — required.
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia protocols and recovery room procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations with composure and clinical efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fertility, OB/GYN, or surgical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete chart and anesthesia packets according to protocol, including thorough consent verification.
  • Verify patient identity and prepare patients for procedures with professionalism and care.
  • Position patients appropriately and maintain a sterile environment throughout all procedures.
  • Assist physicians and anesthesiologists during egg retrievals, cyst aspirations, embryo transfers, office hysteroscopy, D&Es, and related procedures.
  • Monitor patients post-anesthesia, assess pain and nausea levels, and administer appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with discharge instructions and maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation.
  • Conduct allergy assessments and initiate necessary precautions prior to procedures.
  • Administer emergency care as needed, including CPR and code blue protocols.
  • Participate in supply management, inventory restocking, and routine equipment maintenance.
