About The Position
As a PACU Nurse, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. A PACU nurse is a highly skilled and compassionate professional responsible for providing comprehensive, individualized nursing care to patients in the immediate post-operative or post-procedural period. This role involves critical assessment, close monitoring of physiological parameters, pain management, and swift intervention to ensure patient stability and prevent complications as they emerge from anesthesia. The PACU nurse acts as a vital link in the patient's care continuum, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to facilitate a safe and effective recovery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR and ACLS required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in PACU, Critical Care (ICU), or Emergency Department (ED) nursing required.

- Experience with various anesthesia types and surgical procedures is preferred.
