PACU Nurse
About The Position
As a PACU Nurse with CHI St. Vincent, you are expected to apply your nursing knowledge and skills in the recovery room. Most patients never realize the part you played in getting them through one of their most vulnerable moments. Requirements
- 2 years acute hospital experience in Operating Room OR experienced ICU nurses who want to train in the PACU.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Current Arkansas license as a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the recovery room.
- Apply cultural sensitivity to all patients, caregivers, and teams.
- Develop and implement a nursing care plan for PACU patients.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure rooms are prepped with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Demonstrate kindness and compassion.
