About The Position

Aptive Resources, in partnership with Valor Healthcare, is hiring a Clinical Associate to provide direct clinical support within the PACT model at the proposed Yreka, CA CBOC, pending VA contract award. This role involves providing evaluation and care consistent with licensure/certification to patients assigned to PACTs, collaborating with PACT staff on comprehensive health care and care management plans, and managing clinic workflow to ensure timely placement of patients in examination rooms. The Clinical Associate will perform vital signs, point-of-care testing, and assist with procedures, demonstrating knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic technique, infection control, and patient confidentiality. Additionally, the role includes receiving training to serve as backup for telehealth services and completing assigned tasks within the clinic session without delaying patient care.

Requirements

  • LPN/LVN: Current, full, active, unrestricted license; current BLS certification; ambulatory care experience
  • OR Health Technician/Nursing Assistant: Meets VA Qualification Standards for Nursing Assistant, or OPM Health Aid and Technician Series 0640
  • Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license/certification (as applicable to the position) in California, or otherwise meet VA Qualification Standards for the position.
  • Must successfully complete VA credentialing/privileging review and a background investigation (cleared through OPM via the VA Security and Investigations Center) prior to starting work; PIV credentialing required.
  • Must complete required VA mandatory training and maintain current licensure/certification documentation annually.

Responsibilities
