PACKING/SHIPPING ASSOCIATE
About The Position
This position is for a Packing/Shipping Associate at Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc., specifically at their Goodwill2Go location in Newark, OH. The role involves picking, packing, and shipping products from their Internet Retail Location. The associate will be responsible for preparing items for shipment, identifying shipping methods, labeling and organizing packages, completing shipping paperwork, and maintaining professionalism in customer communication. The job also requires maintaining accurate records and occasionally collecting and posting merchandise to the website.
Requirements
- Pass a background check as well as pre-employment drug test including THC
- Have the physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and reach as required to complete the job.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Stand for 4 hours with break.
Nice To Haves
- Packing & shipping experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship product at our Internet Retail Location
- Prepare items for Shipping (wrapping, packing, and weighing items)
- Identify shipping method. Prepare and maintain pre-shipment areas.
- Label and organize all packages to ship
- Complete shipping paperwork as required.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism in written communication with the Shopgoodwill.com customers and business associates.
- Maintain Accurate Records
- Occasionally Collect merchandise for posting and post merchandise to the website
