About The Position

We are currently hiring a Packing Operator to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. Training and certification will be provided to the successful candidate.

Requirements

• One to three years warehouse experience
• Safety Oriented
• Must be physically able to lift up to 40lbs safely and comfortably
• Experience in using RF Scanner
• Outstanding attendance and punctuality are must
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and transactional accuracy are must
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
• Self motivated and works well with team members
• Able to drive a truck and hold a valid G driver's license

Nice To Haves

• The ability to use a counterbalance or reach forklift considered an asset
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Unpack and separate crates of mixed products to be inspected by QA for incoming products.
• Package materials and products manually to prepare goods for shipment as per customer standard.
• Perform basic quality control checks which may include measuring, weighing, package counts, and evaluating product or package appearance.
• Use computer to process picking orders, print order shipping labels and affix them on the correct orders.
• Fold and tape boxes, apply labels/tags, and stack boxes on pallets/crates according to direction.
• Preparation of some products may include using rust preventative and other preventative measures to ensure quality such as bubble wrap, mesh sleeving, capping, bagging, etc.
• Maintain the 5S standards which includes daily/weekly/quarterly cleaning tasks.
• Participate in company safety training activities.
• Other tasks assigned by Warehouse Supervisor
