About The Position

Requirements

  • Pack product.
  • Palletize product
  • Sets up tape machines.
  • Keep cartons available for packers.
  • Keep product buckets empty, using GMP’s to avoid contamination.
  • Make sure bags are properly sealed and coded
  • Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HACCP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards in work area.
  • Follow GSO’s and other policies designed to improve safety.
  • Ensure compliance to process and preventive controls as laid out in Food Safety Plan.
  • Must be able to stand for a standard 8-10 hour shift, with regular breaks performing repetitive work.
  • Earplugs, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), shirt apparel with no buttons or pockets are required in plant in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for packaging product in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Sweep at end of shift.
  • Check case count and weigh waste.
  • Assist with Master Cleaning Schedule.
  • Assist with other assignments as directed.
  • Empty trash cart as time permits.
