About The Position

The Packer reviews work order instructions, completes assigned work orders, inspects extrusion products for quality issues such as incorrect length, surface problems, dents, or other defects, and reports discrepancies. The Packer bundles products according to the packing instructions in each work order, then reviews, verifies, and signs off on completed work orders. The role also involves plant-floor housekeeping as needed. The position requires punctuality and excellent attendance, along with the physical ability to perform assigned duties, including extensive sitting, standing and walking, bending, kneeling and squatting; continuous lifting of up to 75 pounds from the floor to an average waist-high platform; using hand tools and instruments; inspecting operating equipment daily; and working in extreme temperatures.

Requirements

• Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Must be punctual and have the physical ability to perform assigned duties, including the listed physical demands.
• Work authorization in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Review work order instructions.
