About The Position

Responsible for the safe, damage-free, and accurate preparation of all outbound shipments of product based on customer demand. This role requires a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized work. The position involves preparing customer shipments by pulling correct product, labeling each container with proper identification, verifying product, and wrapping. A forklift or electric hoist may be operated to assist in moving finished product. The job demands a highly motivated, strong team player capable of functioning in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, and changing environment. Overtime and flexible hours, including holidays, may be required to meet customer demand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of documents such as manifests, summary reports, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations (Team Meetings) to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must have basic understanding of tablet/scanner use for PLEX.
• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
