About The Position

The Packer packs individual customer orders at an assigned stationary pack station. The role involves pulling totes from a conveyor, understanding order-specific packing requirements, handling products carefully, and preparing orders for shipment. Packers use and restock shipping materials, safely handle dry ice as needed, and work independently to meet established productivity and quality standards. The position is part of a fast-paced warehouse and production environment and may require supporting other departments and performing additional duties as assigned. This is a seasonal role supporting the high-volume holiday season. Openings are available on 1st and 2nd shifts. Pay is $15.50 per hour base, plus a $1.50 per hour seasonal incentive; 2nd shift also receives a $2.00 per hour differential. The posted total rates are $17.00 per hour for 1st shift and $19.00 per hour for 2nd shift. Overtime, extended workdays, and additional workdays may be required based on peak-season business needs.

Requirements

Some high school education or equivalent is preferred.
Basic reading and counting skills.
Ability to learn and use RF scanners daily.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow packing instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Dependability and reliable attendance.
Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling packages weighing up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to walk and stand throughout an 8–10-hour shift.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb as required.
Ability to use ladders and repeatedly climb stairs throughout the workday.
Ability to use hand pallet jacks with payloads of 2,500 pounds or more.
Flexibility and availability to support changing seasonal business needs, including overtime, extended workdays, additional workdays, and assignments in other departments.
