About The Position

Packer is responsible for inspecting and packing bottles on assigned production line(s) in a team-oriented production environment where you'll stay active, contribute to product quality, and perform light physical duties in a safe and modern manufacturing setting. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and supporting efficient production operations.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to understand and comply with all Silgan safety requirements to prevent injury to self and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bottles on assigned production line(s) to ensure quality standards are met.
• Pack finished bottles according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping on assigned line(s) and surrounding work areas, including mopping when necessary.
• Assemble cartons as assigned to support production needs.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with all Silgan safety requirements to prevent injury to self and co-workers.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
