About The Position

Responsible for packing the appropriate number of defined products into a box and following specific work instructions for the product being packed.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

  • Pack appropriate number of defined products into boxes.
  • Place in appropriate container.
  • Place proper labeling on boxes.
  • Follow work instructions.
  • Meet required efficiencies.
  • Perform continuous quality inspections.
  • Follow all required safety procedures.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • 40 hours of non-paid time off starts at time of hire and requires supervisor approval to use.
  • PTO accrual starts at time of hire; 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked. PTO can be used for any reason after 90 days of employment.

  • Profit Sharing for employees 21 years and older, have met minimum required worked hours as of January 1st or July 1st based on date of hire. This is automatically contributed to annually.
  • Sam’s club membership to employees with at least 1 year of service on or before April 1st.
  • Tuition reimbursement/seminars for continued education. Company approval is required and must be related to employee’s current or potential future position with the company.
