About The Position
The Part-Time Packer packs products such as Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos, using precision and quality control to prepare boxes for delivery. Work is based in Pulaski, Tennessee, on Monday through Wednesday, with a start time of 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. and an end time of 3:00 or 3:30 p.m. The position pays $22.02 per hour. The role includes hands-on and classroom on-the-job training. It is a fast-paced, hands-on environment where employees are on the go for most of the day and move products throughout the shift. Employees may be required to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
Responsibilities
- Construct boxes and pack products manually or with automated machines.
- Perform regular quality checks.
- Set up lines during a changeover process.
- Maintain housekeeping and perform specific sanitation tasks as required.
