The Flex Operator role will vary based on the needs of the day. This role is flexible and could include duties such as final in-process inspection, staging of eggs, machine and date code setup, carton inventory management, or staging cartons for the day’s run. In this role, you’ll help deliver the highest quality product while upholding our unwavering commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You’ll act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.
Requirements
- Must be 16 or older
- Able to perform fast paced, repetitive motions
- Repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds
- Walk/stand 8+ hours per day
Responsibilities
- Pack egg cartons into cases
- Check the production run board for date codes and accuracy
- Apply and inspect egg carton labels to ensure correct date codes
- Keep work area clean at all times – clean up egg matter, paper, banding straps, etc. whenever time allows and prior to any breaks
- Assist co-workers as needed
- Maintain daily and end of shift housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, GMPs and Food Safety requirements at all times
