About The Position

We are actively hiring for the position of Packer for our plant in Brooklyn, OH. This role involves preparing boxes for products, ensuring quality control during the packing process, and maintaining a safe work environment. The Packer will be responsible for creating boxes, inspecting products for imperfections, accurately counting items, sealing packages, and reporting any safety hazards. Additionally, the role requires maintaining equipment, being available for overtime, and performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Create different sizes of boxes to have ready for the workload of the day.
As jobs are being moved from the cutting table, ensure quality and look for any imperfections such as color and alignment.
Count the specific product to make sure the box contains enough of what the order requires.
Ensure that the packed box is properly sealed to take to the shipping area.
Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
Perform any and all tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
