About The Position

The Packing Clerk / Shipping Assistant supports all aspects of the shipping and receiving process to help ensure products are shipped accurately and on time. Working closely with the Shipping & Receiving team, this position coordinates the movement of finished goods to designated staging lanes for inspection, packaging, and loading and assists with the receipt of incoming goods.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least three years of shipping and warehouse experience.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to perform the heavy lifting required for the position.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and achieve established goals.
Current forklift license or the ability to operate a forklift and obtain a license promptly.

Responsibilities

Assist the team with placing products in the correct staging lanes for shipment.
Coordinate with the Team Lead to verify completed orders in the ERP system and prepare them for shipment.
Ensure products are packaged in accordance with Latham Pool Products’ packaging standards.
Move finished goods from the production department to storage and designated staging areas.
Assist with international shipping arrangements and required documentation.
Support the receiving and processing of incoming goods.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all company policies, quality assurance programs, procedures, and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
