About The Position

The packer position is responsible for screening, packing, and boxing quality products from an assembly line. This role involves working in an environment that can be wet, humid, or extremely cold, with loud noise levels. Team members will use a touch screen and hand-held scanner, and must be willing to rotate between different positions on the line.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds (with assistance).
• Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities

• Pack corn chips into the box off a chute repeatedly.
• Assemble boxes lined with a bag and pack chips.
• Screen the product for defects before packing.
• Inspect boxes to ensure proper weight.
• On occasion, lift boxes of products weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Keep work areas clean, adhering to GMP guidelines.
• Team members must rotate between the different positions on the line.
• Safely perform work.
• Abide by all company policies/procedures, written or verbal.
• Work as a team member toward task accomplishments.
• Perform any other tasks assigned.
