About The Position

The packer position is responsible for screening, packing, and boxing quality products from an assembly line. This role involves repetitive tasks, attention to detail for quality control, and adherence to safety and company policies. Team members will rotate through different positions on the line and must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds (with assistance).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Must be able to work the 3rd shift.
• Must be able to pass a background check if offered a position.
• Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with touch screen and hand held scanner.

Responsibilities

• Pack corn chips into the box off a chute repeatedly.
• Assemble boxes lined with a bag and pack chips.
• Screen the product for defects before packing.
• Inspect boxes to ensure proper weight.
• On occasion, lift boxes of products weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Keep work areas clean, adhering to GMP guidelines.
• Rotate between the different positions on the line.
• Safely perform work.
• Abide by all company policies/procedures, written or verbal.
• Work as a team member toward task accomplishments.
• Perform any other tasks assigned.
