About The Position

This role operates plant packing equipment in a safe and efficient manner, assuming responsibility for assisting in meeting plant production requirements as set by the client/owner. The position involves observing operating process equipment and maintenance needs, communicating with supervision to ensure maximum performance aligned with production goals, and reading/interpreting instructions and documentation to plan work activities. The job also includes moving materials and equipment, setting up work sites, following hazardous waste handling guidelines, completing records, maintaining tools and equipment, and performing clean-up and housekeeping activities. A key aspect of the role is observing and complying with all safety and project rules, and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Assisting in meeting plant production requirements as set by client/owner
Observing operating process equipment's and maintenance need
Communicating with supervision as necessary to ensure maximum performances as outlined by production goals
Reading and interpreting instructions and documentation and plans work activities
Moving materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work sites
Following all hazardous waste handling guidelines
Completing records, maintaining tools and equipment, and performing various clean-up and housekeeping activities
Observing and complying with all safety and project rules
Performing other duties as required
