About The Position

The Packer C position is responsible for packing products in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow production specifications, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The position is in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and loud noise.

Requirements

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing return on investment.
Knowledge of machines used in the production process. Must be aware and abide by all safety operations of equipment.
Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Responsibilities

Read production sheets to ensure proper specifications for product being produced and packed.
Prepare packaging for finished product by placing labeling and building pallets.
Inspect product, document inspections, and report concerns promptly to the machine operator or supervisor.
Remove finished product from the production line and package neatly in boxes or bulk.
Weigh finished cases and record accurate weights using the upper control limits (UCL), target, and lower control limits (LCL).
Keep up with the production process and daily production goals.
Keep up with production line(s).
Keep finished product picked up and stacked neatly.
Complete all necessary paperwork as required.
Assist co-workers when needed.
Keep work area neat and clean.
